Foot Reflexology & Joint Mobilization with Lisa Modica Lisa received her education at Touchstone Healing Arts School in Burlington, Vermont and The Modern Institute of Reflexology in Colorado. Lisa works out of several modalities for the past 4 years and has offices in Johnson and Stowe, VT. Just as you can't have a solid house on a crumbling foundation... neither can you have a strong healthy body on feet that do not function well. The entire skeletal system rests upon the feet and one misplaced bone in the foot will be felt up the entire body... often creating foot, knee, hip and back pain. Foot Joint Mobilization is a manipulation of the feet to help loosen joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles and assist in the realignment of any misplaced bones. You will learn about proper gait, shoes, shoe size and have your feet evaluated and properly measured. In Foot Reflexology the foot is seen as a microcosm of the entire body. Each foot has 7200 nerve endings with each nerve connecting to a specific part of the body and working these points stimulates a healing reaction in the correlating part of the body.   Sukhada Repass founder of Ray of Light is located in Johnson, Vermont. She has been involved in the Healing Arts for 10 years, teaches Reiki & does Restorative Reiki Yoga Workshops twice a month. Reiki is a Japanese technique for relaxation and stress, benficial for all ailments. It is gentle and noninvasive and may be used on both humans and animals to feel more relaxed. These techniques lessens pain, promotes quicker healing after surgery and reduce fear, anxiety and assists with behavioural issues. Crystal Healing is the ancient art of laying-on-of-stones. Crystals are laid on the body over the major energy centers (chakras) of the body. Each chakra resonates to a particular color so by laying a crystal of that color over the chakra, the chakras open & become aligned.
